We are looking for an Electronics Technician Full-time (32-40 hours)
Education Level: MBO 3 or 4 (Electronics / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering)
This is us.
At Quant Consultancy Electronics, we design and produce custom electronics for the unique and often diverse products of our large client base. We also contribute ideas on new technologies, the further development of the client's end product, and the implementation of new electronics. We look beyond just production and design. Our broad perspective allows us to offer more flexibility, and that's what makes us who we are.
Quant is a company with a close-knit team of approximately 35 employees. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We value direct communication without unnecessary meetings and encourage teamwork. From Alkmaar, we work for clients worldwide, across many different sectors.
About the Role
Are you the kind of technician who won't quit until every component is perfectly in place? As an Electronics Technician at Quant , you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing high-quality electronic systems. No two days are the same: one day you might be working on complex circuit boards for coffee machines or solar panel test systems, the next you'll be building complete control cabinets for railway or bridge security installations or alarm centers.
What will you do?
- Assembling electronic components and modules from drawings.
- Soldering (precision mechanical) of components onto circuit boards.
- Performing quality checks and functional tests using measuring equipment (such as multimeters and oscilloscopes).
- Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions in electronic circuits.
- Contributing ideas for process improvements: how can we make things smarter or more efficient?
Your Profile
- You have a completed MBO qualification (level 3 or 4) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- You have experience with (precision) soldering and reading technical diagrams.
- You work accurately and have a steady hand; "an eye for detail" is not a cliché for you, but a requirement.
- You are eager to learn and keen to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Proficiency in Dutch (English is a plus).
What We Offer You
- Salary: A competitive salary (€ 2700-€ 3750) (depending on experience).
- Development: Opportunities for taking courses (e.g., IPC-certified soldering).
- Equipment: A modernly equipped workplace with the latest test and measurement equipment.
- Atmosphere: An informal team with a passion for technology and great Friday afternoon drinks.
- Benefits: 25 vacation days (for full-time employment), a good pension scheme, and travel expense reimbursement.
