Fluido® Compact — Firmware Update Tool for TSC Life
TSC Life is a global medical technology manufacturer specializing in patient temperature management and single-use endoscopy with decades of industry experience.
For TSC Life, we have developed a hardware and software toolkit that allows firmware updates for the Fluido® Compact in the field.
This solution enables TSC Life to efficiently roll out software improvements and device updates so that installed systems remain up to the latest validated performance and functionality.
In just three months over time, we developed the entire process: from idea and concept to the delivery of 100 fully functional programming tools with custom PC software.
The solution consists of a solution designed by Quant PCB, a custom enclosure that we 3D printed, and custom software that communicates with a laptop via USB. This software controls the programming hardware and guides the user step-by-step through the update and programming process.
This project shows how Quant can develop quickly, flexibly and integrally: hardware, housing and software, perfectly tailored to the customer's application.
