PCB for BLDC-powered professional hand blender

For the development of the Mixer, a new Espressions professional blender due in May 2026, Quant has developed the electronics and circuit board (PCB) that are responsible for motor control, user interface and system functionality.

The Mixer stands out for the use of a brushless DC motor (BLDC) made in Europe. This motor technology offers an efficient, quiet and durable drive and allows precise speed control for both delicate preparations and intensive mixing tasks.

BLDC motor control up to 12,000 rpm

The PCB designed by Quant integrates the motor controller and power electronics required for the electronic commutation of the BLDC motor. This allows the speed to be regulated stably from low speeds to approximately 12,000 revolutions per minute.

In combination with the 200 watt brushless motor this results in powerful performance, low noise levels and efficient drive.

Intuitive control with LED display

The electronics also provide the entire user interface of the device. The speed is continuously adjusted via an ergonomic control button and can be read directly on the integrated LED display. This provides users with clear feedback on the set speed and allows precise control during use.

Designed for performance

The Mixer has been developed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The construction consists of brushed die-cast aluminum and 316 stainless steel, with a hard steel blade and mixing disc.

Weighing approximately 950 gram and a length of 42 cm the device combines strength, durability and ergonomics.

Compact electronics for maximum performance

By BLDC motor control, power electronics and user interface By integrating on one compact PCB, an efficient and reliable electronic solution could be achieved.

With this project, Quant shows how expertise in electronics development and PCB design can contribute to innovative products, from industrial applications to high-end consumer devices.
